Sweatpants have officially escaped there main purpose of lounging and I know all us ladies are beyond thrilled! Who ever thought we’d be able to wear them as a part of our everyday lives?! Well now you can easily dress them up to look a lot more stylish then ever before… Kim Kardashian is a great example.
But lets be real.. who can pull it off as good as Kim K?! Lets dive in and look at some cute ways to style sweatpants without looking like an overtired sloppy college student.
- PAIR THEM WITH A TRENDY COAT OR BLAZER
Instead of reaching for that old sweatshirt, wear your sweatpants with a trendy coat as simple as a denim jacket, leather jacket or even a trench coat. You can also pair a blazer with them to give it a more dressed up vibe and really prove your a boss babe on a hustle.
2. WEARING THEM WITH HEELS
This has became a huge trend for many trendy instagrammers and influencers on social platforms. Obviously I wouldn’t recommend resorting to those tacky heels you wore to graduation in 2015, however, a simple heel with basic white, nude or black colours can enhance and elevate your look instantly when paired with the right top and jewelry. A statement accessory could be as simple as a thick layered necklace or a nice handbag from your favourite store or designer. No matter how simple your outfit is this will really enhance and step up the look from, “mom i’m just running to the grocery store,” to “running errands like a boss b*ch in NYC vibe..”.
